Our bio waste management journey began during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, when we faced a serious challenge in managing poultry manure. At that time, poultry manure was widely used as an agricultural input, but conventional composting methods required considerable time and effort.

We began searching for a faster, more effective, and environmentally responsible solution. During this search, we came across a microbial culture technology that offered the potential to decompose organic waste more efficiently, with reduced odour and environmental impact.

Inspired by this possibility, we consulted the technology provider and began experimenting with improved composting practices. In 2022, we started applying these methods to different organic waste streams, gradually building our knowledge and practical experience.

### Expanding Our Composting Solutions

Through continuous learning and field experience, we expanded our composting activities beyond poultry manure. We developed practical approaches for managing food waste, fish waste, meat waste, and other biodegradable materials.

Our focus was to make organic waste treatment faster, more practical, and accessible to households, institutions, commercial establishments, and local waste management operators.

Our experience demonstrated the potential of microbial technology to support decentralised organic waste management and convert biodegradable waste into useful compost and other valuable resources.

### 2023: Establishing AGRIPOINT for Knowledge Sharing

In 2023, we established *AGRIPOINT* with a broader mission: to share our practical knowledge, train individuals interested in waste management, and help more people adopt scientific and sustainable waste treatment practices.

We recognised that technology alone cannot solve the waste management challenge. People need the right knowledge, practical training, suitable products, and continued support to implement effective solutions.

AGRIPOINT therefore began developing its role as a knowledge-sharing and technology-support organisation, helping individuals and institutions turn waste management challenges into opportunities.

### 2024: Expanding Through Government Empanelment

In 2024, AGRIPOINT achieved an important milestone by securing empanelment with the Kerala government’s Suchitwa Mission for supplying products to Local Self-Government Departments (LSGDs).

This opened new opportunities to make our products available to local bodies across Kerala and support decentralised bio waste management initiatives.

Our activities expanded across multiple areas, including waste collection, processing, system design, installation, and operational support. Through these activities, we continued working towards practical waste management solutions suited to local requirements.

### 2025: Advancing Indigenous Composting Technology

In 2025, we acquired Jaivam technology from CSIR–NIIST to strengthen our composting technology and manufacturing capabilities.

This milestone supported our efforts to manufacture composting cultures and make them available to households and municipal waste management initiatives across India.

By combining scientific technology with our field experience, AGRIPOINT aims to make biological waste treatment more accessible, practical, and scalable.

At AGRIPOINT, we believe that biodegradable waste is not merely a disposal problem; it is a valuable resource waiting to be recovered.

Our mission is to promote a circular economy in which organic waste is converted into useful products, environmental pollution is reduced, and communities gain access to sustainable waste management solutions.
