AGRIPOINT began its journey in agriculture in 2017 with a clear vision: *to provide safe, healthy, and nutritious food to society.* We believe that agriculture should not only ensure food security but also protect human health, preserve soil fertility, and promote sustainable farming practices.

From the beginning, our focus has been on encouraging responsible agricultural practices and producing food with minimal risk of harmful chemical residues. Guided by our commitment to the principle of *“Safe to Eat,”* we work towards a future where consumers can access quality agricultural produce they can trust.

## Our Commitment to Safe Food

We believe that safe food begins with responsible farming. Our agricultural activities focus on promoting the production of nutritious food while reducing the risks associated with excessive and inappropriate pesticide use.

To support this commitment, we have undertaken pesticide residue testing of vegetables through the Pesticide Residue Testing Laboratory at Kerala Agricultural University, Vellayani, Kerala. These efforts reflect our emphasis on scientific testing, food safety awareness, and responsible agricultural production.

Our goal is to create greater awareness among farmers and consumers about the importance of pesticide residue management and the need to adopt safer, more sustainable farming practices.

## Empowering Farmers Through FPOs

In 2021, AGRIPOINT expanded its activities by initiating work on Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) under NABARD’s Central Sector Scheme.

Through this initiative, we have worked towards strengthening farmer collectives, improving farmers’ access to agricultural support systems, and creating opportunities for better market access and collective growth.

Our work with FPOs reflects our belief that organised farmers can achieve greater economic stability, improve their bargaining power, and build stronger agricultural enterprises.
